Tweaking the Details in Divine Wager: Love's Last Stand
Hey, everyone! We’ve been hard at work fine-tuning Divine Wager: Love’s Last Stand, and wanted to give you a quick update on some of the tweaks and polish we’ve made recently!
Music Adjustments 🎶
One of the areas we’ve been focusing on is the music. We noticed some unevenness in certain places where the music either didn’t hit quite right or overpowered the dialogue. We’ve rebalanced the audio in those areas to create a more immersive experience without any distractions. However, fixing the 'obvious' looping is not as simple and I'm still working on how to looping music not obvious. Thank you for your patience there.
Adding a Missed Scene 🎭
During our final playthroughs, we realized there was a small, but important scene that had somehow slipped through the cracks! It wasn’t a major plot point, but it added depth to the relationship between Mia and Jake in the white world, so we couldn’t leave it out. That’s been added back in and we’re confident it strengthens the overall narrative.
Fixing Pacing Issues ⏳
Pacing is everything in a visual novel, and we noticed some areas where things either dragged or moved too fast. After carefully reviewing the story flow, we adjusted some sections to ensure that key moments have the impact they deserve, without slowing the pace too much.
These might seem like minor changes, but they really make a difference in creating a smoother, more enjoyable experience for players. We’re almost there and can’t wait to share Divine Wager with all of you soon!
Thanks for sticking with us through these final stages of development. Stay tuned for more updates!
