Welcome aboard, Captain! Your room is a mess, and with your birthday just around the corner, Mom insists it’s time to clean up. But why tidy up a room when it could be the setting for a grand pirate adventure?

In Thar They Go, your messy bedroom transforms into a pirate’s paradise, where every corner holds treasures to be discovered. Explore three unique locations:

• The Coconut  Cruiser(Your Bed): Command your mighty vessel and uncover memories from past adventures.
• Tangled Grove (The Dresser): Venture ashore to discover fabric treasures and forgotten keepsakes.
• Dead Man’s Cave (The Closet): Brave the depths of darkness to reclaim hidden artifacts of your childhood.

As Captain, you’ll decide the fate of your treasures: keep them, toss them, or donate them to others. Your choices shape the story, leading to one of three possible endings. Will you become a generous captain, a swashbuckler, or a greedy pirate?

Teharra created the game idea and interactive concept, wrote all the story lines and endings and did all the programming.

Most of the art assets (Pirate Ship Background/Cave/Jungle Backgrounds/Assets/GUI/Treasure Map) are hand-drawn by Humane Tiger with ♥ and passion.

Thar They Go was created in just three days for Cozy Winter Jam 2025 (https://itch.io/jam/cozy-winter-jam-2025) , inspired by the theme metamorphosis. This short, heartfelt story is designed to be fun and relatable for players of all ages, blending creativity, adventure, and meaningful decision-making.
